About Us

Letter from the President

Greetings!

On behalf of the members of APSP, I would like to welcome you to our Web Site. At our site you can learn about our organization, find out about our primary products, and find a Pool & Spa Professional Delaer in your town. I hope after visiting our site, you select an APSP Pool & Spa Professional to service you.

Thank you,
President, Midwest Chapter

What is APSP?

APSP stands for The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals. It is a national association made up of independent manufacturers, distributors, swimming pool builders, retailers, and service companies.

Why should I do business with an APSP member?

Perhaps you are looking for a retail store to shop in, or you are considering the purchase of a spa or inground swimming pool. Maybe you're in need of a service company to take care of your pool. Whatever the case, an APSP member company has the professional staff to accommodate your needs. The member companies of APSP voluntarily hold themselves accountable to meet the national standards set by our industry.

Training

APSP has education courses that employees may attend. Retail store staff or service technicians must complete 120 hours of classroom time and pass 3 exams in order to become a certified service professional. APSP also has a Certified Builders Program that requires classroom time and an exam in order to be an APSP-certified pool builder.

Many of our members in the APSP have staff that are either currently in the process of attaining this certification or have already been certified. You, as the consumer, are the winner. Because you elect to do business with an APSP member, you have available to you the most knowledgeable pool professionals in the country.

Dealers Looking for Association

If you are a pool dealer, retail store owner, service company owner or participate in other consumer oriented business focused on the spa and pool industry, then you should consider joining our association. Please talk to us about membership in the APSP The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals. The APSP can be reached at the phone number below, or you may contact APSP directly at 703.838.0083. Thanks for your interest!
